LittleBook: Why did you start a band??
ShitKickers : Well, I know everyone always says “To meet chicks”, but we just really enjoy getting free booze.
LB: How did you find each other??
SK: We all kind of grew up together.
LB: What's your most memorable moment as a band??
SK: We played a biker rally in Hollister, CA one year. It was over a hundred degrees and tensions were running high in the crowd. One of our guys threw some CDs out in the crowd and they all came flying back within thirty seconds. We were laughing our asses off, but the band that had to follow us looked like they were being marched off to execution.
LB: Favorite pre / post show; food, indulgence or ritual??
SK: Coors.
LB: What do you drink at practice??
SK: Coors.
LB: What’s the hardest thing about being a Band in the Bay Area??
SK: Trying to get a slot at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival.
LB: What's up with your CD where can I get it, where did you record it??
SK: Our last CD was recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis, TN. You can find it on iTunes or Amazon or MySpace or bigbender. net. Our upcoming fourth CD should be available spring ‘09.

SK: C.B.G.B. was awesome just because. The Catalyst in Santa Cruz and The Knockout in S.F.
LB: Do any of the members ever take their shirts off at a show or at practice??
SK: Julie.
LB: Who's the smelliest member after a sweaty gig??
SK: Julie.
LB: Where do you think live music is heading??
SK: It’s getting pretty tough for the average working stiff to go to a show and get a buzz on without blowing half of their rent.
LB: How do you feel about people downloading your songs for free, do you offer free downloads??
SK: If they’re enjoying the music and spreading the word, it can’t be all that bad.
