LittleBook: Why did you start a band??
The Backup Razor:
Musicians need to be able to make music in order to be content with their lives. Some go solo. We formed a band.

LB: How did you find each other??
TBR
: The band was looking for a singer so they put out an add online and found me. We went through some more line-up changes and each time the internet was the best tool to find other like minded musicians.

LB: What's your most memorable moment as a band??
TBR:
Personally it would have to be more than one moment. Whenever we make friends with other kick ass musicians like Teraton, Painting Gala, and A Band of Orcs I feel like we are very lucky to get to rock with these amazing musicians.

LB: Favorite pre / post show; food, indulgence or ritual??
TBR:
I'm not at liberty to say. But Hugo's Pizza in Watsonville is the bomb.

LB: What do you drink at practice??
TBR:
 Liquids.

LB: What's the hardest thing about being a Band in the Bay Area??
TBR:
 Uh, it's not that hard.

LB: What are you doing next??
TBR:
We just want people to come to our shows. We give away our cd's and accept donations to go toward our first full length studio album.

LB: What's up with your CD where can I get it, where did you record it??
TBR:
You can get it from us. just send us a message or come to a show. We recorded both of our e.p.s at our guitarists home studio Deadrail Studios in Watsonville.

LB: Favorite San Francisco Band or a memorable show??
TBR:
We played out of Nicks (lead guitar) garage on halloween last year. The cops came and checked out a song before shutting us down. It was cool.

LB: Favorite venue to Play??
TBR:
The Blue Lagoon in Santa Cruz.

LB: Do any of the members ever take their shirts off at a show or at practice??
TBR:
You should come to a show and find out for yourself.

LB: Who's the smelliest member after a sweaty gig??
TBR:
 It's always the drummer.

LB: Where do you think live music is heading?
TBR:
 Into your ear pussies.

LB: How do you feel about people downloading your songs for free , do you offer free downloads??
TBR:
It's cool with us. Someday we may put enough money into recording that it would be nice to make it back, but we're not doing this for money.
