LittleBook: Why did you start a band??
Coerced Into Battle: Being in a band is something we all wanted to do after hearing our first Sepultura song. It's rad that we grew up together, sort of, and learned to play our different instruments. We are friends and band mates all in one.
LB: How did you find each other??
CIB: We went to middle school and high school together in Los Banos, CA.
LB: What's your most memorable moment as a band??
CIB: Our last trip up to Seattle to play the metal fest was a rad time. We just released Enemy Mine and we couldn't wait to play some shows. It felt different playing shows after that knowing we had our first CD pressed.

LB: Any favorite pre / post show; food, indulgence or ritual ?
CIB: I do Vox and prefer not to eat more than a few hours before a show. Raul will somehow find the most gnarley truck stop hot dog or snack to scarf down. Thad has his big jug of water. We practice our set on unamplified guitars to warm up before a show.
LB: What do you drink at practice??
CIB: RedBull and water. Again Raul gets the sandwiches from the vendor that Thad and I are not sure about.
LB: What’s the hardest thing about being a Bay Area Band??
CIB: The Bay Area is a big place to promote and there are a whole lot of bands around here. You gotta hit the ground hard to make your name known.
LB: What do you want people to know about your band, what are you doing next??
CIB: We are working on our next album right now. We just released our current album through Rising Records but we honestly released the CD on our own last year. We have been playing the songs for a couple of years though and it is time to get some fresh new ideas out.
LB: What's up with your CD where can I get it, where did you record it??
CIB: You can buy our CD from our myspace page, iTunes, Rhapsody, CD baby, Tower Records, Target onnline and .... I think we lost count of the actual places you can buy it. Our album released through the record label is an import in the US since Rising Records is in the UK so be prepared to pay more if you buy it through them.
LB: Favorite San Francisco Band or a memorable show??
CIB: All Shall Perish! Is this some kind of trick question. haha
LB: Favorite venue to Play??
CIB: The Metro was rad. We have played quite a bit at Roosters Roadhouse and the sound guy is really good and a cool dude.
LB: Who's the smelliest member after a sweaty gig??
CIB: Do you use Dial? Don't you wish someone else did?
