LittleBook: Why did you start a band??
Midnight Bombers: Duh, for the chicks! (or dudes...ahem, that was Jerry)
LB: How did you find each other??
MB: Through a series of failed band attempts, Every time we would crash and burn a band we would pick up a member and form a new band, start over.
LB: what's your most memorable moment as a band, ??
MB: I'd say our Northwest tour last year, it was a great time when we really got to focus on just being a band and not think about our day jobs and daily life shit.
LB: favorite pre / post show; food, indulgence or ritual ??
MB: We usually spank each other, y'know in a baseball player kind of way.
LB: What do you drink at practice??
MB: I love the Amstél light but I gotta say as a band we go for Tecaté or if we are lucky Buick's Home brew (the ladies know what I'm talking about...*wink*).
LB: what's the hardest thing about being a San Francisco Band??
MB: Getting folks out to shows, there is always a lot of competition and lots of fun stuff going on around town.. not to mention everyones broke.
LB: what do you want people to know about your band, what are you doing next??
MB: We have a record in the works. We have 11 songs almost through the pre-production process and are 1/4 of the way through the 12th. It's going to be harder and tighter than our first record...We hope to get it out by early spring of next year it's called "Dirty Business".
LB: what's up with your CD where can I get it, where did you record it??
MB: Evil Streets is out ...that's our last record, We wrote and recorded it ourselves, Eball did most of the tech work, mixing etc... and Jerry did the graphic design. You can get it at CD baby or Ameoba in the Haight for $5.
LB: Favorite San Francisco Band or a memorable show??
MB: Well we are whores for the Grannies, those old birds never let you down. As far as Shows I gotta say we played a show out in concord with the Dickies earlier this year that was kick ass.
LB: Favorite venue to Play??
MB: Tough call between Annies and Thee Parkside... They are both great venues with great staff. This time around I gotta say Annies on Saturday November 8th (cuz we are playing our first show in like 6 months and playing most of the new record!) with New American Mob and Inferno of Joy.
